Outsource your social media jobs
Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 7:47AM Just saw the following research, I suggest that people outsource this work, you will not get a return on investment if you put one person on the job, it takes a team, with multiple skills. But interesting research, not sure I beleve the numbers, I talk to companies all day and I am guessing the real number is below 40%
Some 69 per cent of UK firms have or will create such a role, according to research from software vendor EPiServer. Some 28 per cent have already put a social media or community manager in place this year and a further 41 per cent expect to appoint one in the next 12 months.
